Make a video, win an iPad with QuiBids!
Have you heard about the latest contest going on over at QuiBids?
The bidding site’s best known for auctioning off iPads to its customers, but they’ll be giving one away at the end of their new video contest!
QuiBids partnered with bidding site watchdogs PennyBurners to host the contest, which encourages bidders to create and submit their very own sixty-second-long videos explaining just what they do with their QuiBids wins.
It’s not like past QuiBids video contests where we’ve asked customers to shoot their unboxing, like so:
Instead we want to know what you guys take your great products and do with them! There literally are thousands of winners on QuiBids’ bidding site every day, so the possibilities for what you do with your wins are endless!
We’ve heard loads of stories about what people use QuiBids wins to do before on social media and in customer support calls, and now we want them on video! Here’s how to do it.
First: Tell us what you won.
Example: “Hi, I’m Ed. I won this awesome electric razor on QuiBids!”
Second: Tell us what you did with it.
Example: “I used it to shave my facial hair into this incredible zig-zag pattern [turns head to display an incredibly intricate pattern of facial hair]”
Third: Submit your video at the QuiBids Facebook page! It can’t be any longer than 60 seconds, so get after it, bidders! We’ll pick one winner after we stop accepting submissions August 14, 2012.
QuiBids’ Mother’s Day mini-contest
How’s your Mother’s Day shopping going? If you’re in need of some ideas, the QuiBids company blog’s got your back with four quick suggestions from our Mother’s Day Facebook shopping gallery (and one more each from our Canadian and Australian markets).
We want to make sure that moms all over the world get to enjoy their special day, so we’re going to help celebrate too! We’re announcing our Mother’s Day mini-contest, which you can enter simply by sending us an email. The winners get free bids, so listen up! Here’s how it works:
1. Compose an email with the subject line Mother’s Day mini-contest submission.
2. Attach a picture of you with your mom.
3. Write each of your first names and last initials in the body of the email, as well as how long you’ve been bidding on QuiBids.
4. And send it to me at matt[dot]carney[at]quibids[dot]com.
We’ll choose five winners at random to give 25 Voucher Bids, kind of like a miniature version of our daily Facebook sweepstakes and our Twitter retweet contests. Be sure to enter to win those too, if you haven’t already!
