QuiBids is expanding globally
QuiBids has been a popular entertainment retail auction website in the United States with up to hundreds of thousands of visitors and bidders every month. With the new, improved Internet auction model and all of the QuiBids Games and amazing deals on name brand items, it’s no surprise that QuiBids has grown internationally.
QuiBids is currently available in the United States, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom with plans to expand into certain European markets later this year. And because of our international presence we are proud to introduce Global Auctions!
The idea behind QuiBids Global Auctions is to “provide users in every country with more auctions and more product variety whenever they visit the site,” said QuiBids CEO Matt Beckham. “Customers in markets outside the United States are going to see hundreds and eventually thousands of more auctions a day and domestic users will see an increase too.”
These auctions will allow customers to compete for items with users in other countries. The introduction of Global Auctions is to increase the site’s entertainment value and offer more auctions and more product variety for members, as well as accommodate our growing customer base.
Members who’ve joined QuiBids, especially those featured as QuiBidder of the Week, love our auction model and live auction items. They’ve shared their wins and success stories with us and continue to bid on items for pennies on the dollar. Keep a look out for our planet Earth icon which will indicate if an auction is Global or not. Global Auctions are currently only available in the U.S., Canadian, and Australian markets, but will quickly spread.
Another bonus is QuiBids’ unique Buy Now feature will — as always — be available in Global Auctions. Buy Now enables customers to purchase an item at the listed retail price, less any money they lost unsuccessfully bidding on it. “It’s our way of making sure customers never have to walk away empty-handed,” said Jill Farrand, QuiBids’ Director of Public Relations.
